CourseCompare.ie ("we", "us", "our") is an online course comparison platform operated from Dublin, Ireland. We provide a service that allows users to search, discover, compare, and enquire about educational courses offered by third-party institutions and course providers.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the CourseCompare.ie website at www.coursecompare.ie and all related services.

By using CourseCompare, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years of age.
• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

CourseCompare.ie is a comparison and information platform only. We do not:

• Enrol users in courses.
• Accept payments for courses on behalf of providers.
• Guarantee the availability, accuracy, or suitability of any course listed.
• Act as an agent or representative of any educational institution.

Any agreement you enter into with a course provider is solely between you and that provider. CourseCompare.ie is not a party to that agreement.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that course information on CourseCompare.ie - including fees, duration, entry requirements, start dates, and availability - is accurate and up to date. However:

• Course details are provided by third-party institutions and may change without notice.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any course listing.
• You should always verify course details directly with the relevant institution before making any decisions or financial commitments.

CourseCompare.ie lists discounts and promotional offers as provided by course providers. These deals are subject to the provider's own terms and conditions, availability, and expiry dates. We cannot guarantee that any advertised discount will be available at the time of your enquiry. Always confirm deal validity directly with the provider.

When you submit an enquiry about a course through CourseCompare.ie, your personal data will be shared with the relevant course provider so they can respond to you. By submitting an enquiry, you consent to this sharing.

CourseCompare.ie is not responsible for the actions, communications, or practices of any third-party course provider. Any dispute arising from your interaction with a provider must be resolved directly with that provider.

You may register for a CourseCompare.ie account to access features such as wishlists, learning tracking, and personalised recommendations. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used in a manner we deem harmful or inappropriate.

CourseCompare.ie may allow users to submit reviews, ratings, and other content. By submitting content, you:

• Confirm the content is truthful, accurate, and based on genuine experience.
• Grant CourseCompare.ie a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content on the platform.
• Agree not to post defamatory, offensive, misleading, or unlawful content.

We reserve the right to remove any content that we consider inappropriate or in violation of these terms.

All content on CourseCompare.ie — including text, logos, graphics, design, and software — is the intellectual property of CourseCompare.ie or its licensors and is protected by Irish and EU copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent.

You agree not to use CourseCompare.ie to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data without permission.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Transmit spam, viruses, or any harmful code.

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish and EU law, CourseCompare.ie shall not be liable for:

• Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on course information provided on the platform.
• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from use of the site.
• Any actions or omissions of third-party course providers.
• Temporary unavailability of the website due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Irish consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

CourseCompare.ie may contain links to third-party websites, including course provider sites. We have no control over the content or practices of those sites and accept no responsibility for them. Visiting third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Your use of CourseCompare.ie is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of CourseCompare.ie shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

As an Irish-based service, we also comply with applicable EU consumer protection and digital services regulations, including the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) where applicable.

CourseCompare.ie runs a fortnightly prize draw open to users who have submitted a course review on the platform. The following terms apply:

• Prize: One (1) One4All Gift Voucher to the value of €100 is awarded per draw.
• Eligibility: Any person who submits a genuine course review on CourseCompare.ie is automatically entered into the draw. Each reviewer will remain eligible for draws for a period of six (6) months from the date their review was submitted.
• Draw frequency: The prize draw takes place every second Monday evening at 8pm (fortnightly).
• Winner announcement: The winner's name (first name and initial) will be announced on the CourseCompare.ie Instagram page following each fortnightly draw.
• Winner notification: The winner will be contacted directly by phone and email within one (1) hour of the draw completing, using the contact details provided at the time of review submission.
• Prize delivery: The One4All voucher will be issued to the winner electronically or by post. No cash alternative is available.
• Fraudulent entries: Any review found to be false, misleading, or submitted in bad faith will be disqualified and the entry removed from all future draws.
• Amendments: CourseCompare.ie reserves the right to amend, suspend, or discontinue the prize draw at any time without prior notice.
• Data: Contact details provided at review submission will be used to notify the winner and to add you to our marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly.

By submitting a review, you agree to these prize draw terms and conditions.
